Trend lines used for liquidity and breakout levels, not entry signals. Price action based trading.

that's really good for using for predicting breakouts in confluence with horizontal levels and price action. So I've used them on and off for years. I don't specifically really use trend lines for my entries or anything like that. It's still all price action based. But I'll use trend lines to show where liquidity is. I'll use trend lines to denote maybe a breakout level, like if BTC is a perfect example. Like this trend line just shows that we've been making lower highs, just a visual representation of lower highs and breaking the trend line is a clue that the lower highs might be coming to an end before the actual lower highs break.
