Home › Glossary › What is a raid?
A raid moves your viewers into another streamer's chat as you sign off, handing them an audience in one go.
It converts the end of a stream, normally a moment where attention evaporates, into something useful for a channel you want to support.
Acknowledging incoming viewers and giving them context for what they walked into decides whether any of them stay.
Communities notice when raids are aimed purely at channels expected to raid back. The ones that build relationships tend to be the unforced ones.
