Home › Glossary › What is CCV (concurrent viewers)?
CCV stands for concurrent viewers: how many people are watching simultaneously, usually quoted as an average across a stream.
Followers accumulate forever and include people who never return. Concurrent viewers measure who actually shows up, which is why sponsors and networks ask for it first.
Peak viewers flatter a stream that spiked for five minutes. Average concurrent viewers across the whole broadcast is the honest figure, and quoting peak as if it were average is a known way to lose a deal.
