The trade is up a bunch of money, but it's not at your take profit. Did you get greedy and hold it past your take profit and round tripped? That's the kind of basic stuff that I think you want to write down because then you can look back a month ago and compare your data to now and say, okay, while I was making money last month, I'm not making any money this month. Am I doing anything differently? No. Okay. Well, then is the market regime just different and that's okay. I'm just on a losing streak. That's normal or hey, actually last month I was taking, you know, only trades in a discount. This month I started taking all trades, right? And that fucked me up. So that's the real, I think, value of journaling is you need these data points. So you can actually track your progress, figure out whether or not you're improving and find the leaks in your game along the way to continue to iterate and sharpen that edge.
