Take trade fitting your system best; SMT divergence clue, not relative strength indicator.

That's how I do it personally. I love trading sweeps. That's my favorite setup, right? But it doesn't mean one is right and the other's wrong. S&T just gives us that directional clue. It lets you know that this move was the lie. It doesn't tell you which one is relatively stronger than the other. And I think the ultimate tiebreaker is where does your model present itself most cleanly? You're never gonna long the asset that goes up the most. There's always gonna be a coin or a different setup that had higher beta. It went up even more than your coin did. You long Bitcoin, it went up 5%. Someone long ETH, it went up 8%. The end of the day, your goal is to take the trade that fits your model, your system, the best, the one that you can identify the most cleanly, where to enter, where to put your stop, where to take your profit.
