Acknowledge mistakes, identify what worked before, get back on horse with proper risk management.

I've been there. It's happened. But the only way to resolve this is to identify and admit to yourself first exactly what you did wrong. And clearly what you did wrong is you threw all of your risk management out the window, right? You threw all of your management out the window. You ignored your stop loss. You overrisisked. It's not going to work, right? It's not going to work. So, first, just come to terms with what happened. Second, realize the money's gone now, right? You're starting back from scratch. Now, the good news is clearly you had done something right over the last year to gain some profit. What did you do during that past year? Is it repeatable? Was it working? Were you consistently making money? Can you do it again? Great. Take your lump, suck it up, and get back on the horse. It's the only way to go about it. But don't make that same mistake again. Never put yourself in a position where you can lose all of your account or all of your profit from one mistake. You should never be in a position of risk of ruin.
