Home › Guides › Building a stream schedule you can actually keep
Most schedules fail because they are written on a good day, for an imagined version of you with no job, no illness, and no flat tyres.
Pick the number of streams you could still hit during a busy, tired, unremarkable week. Anything above that line trains your audience to expect something you will eventually miss, and a missed stream costs more trust than a smaller schedule ever would.
Viewers remember days far more reliably than clock times, especially across time zones. Locking the days first gives you room to shift start times without feeling unpredictable.
Holidays, travel, and deadlines are all foreseeable. Announcing a gap ahead of time reads as professional; going quiet reads as quitting.
Spontaneous streams are a bonus when the baseline is reliable. They cannot substitute for it, because discovery rewards the pattern rather than the surprise.
