Kill zones are simply when institutional trading desks and big money are actively trading during business hours.

I don't want you to think about the guy behind the curtain in the Wizard of Oz. I just want you to think logically. When are most institutions? When are the trading desks in New York going to be open? When are the trading desks in London going to be open? When are the hedge funds trading? When are the big money people trading? These are what the kill zones are. So now this concept, ICT originally kind of coined within Forex. So I'm going to give you the classic windows. They work the same in the stock market. And then I'll kind of give you a practical, pragmatic view of what it is for crypto because I do believe that they're relevant, but they're not maybe as potent as they are in traditional markets yet. When more institutions are active, market structure breaks, sweeps, okay, distribution, all of these things are much more important because they're occurring when big money is moving the market around and they're much more reliable. So again, we got to think logically, who's moving price to these liquidity targets? How is it getting to these lows, okay? People have to be selling it for it to go down. When are going to be the most potential big money sellers in the market during these active windows? So we have a handful here I'm going to give you. So the first one is the London open kill zone, okay? And all these times are EST. So this is from 2am to 5.
