Another one here is revenge trading. You take a loss, but it was a good trade. It was a trade that just didn't work. But instead of accepting that that is part of your system and letting the math play out, your ego gets involved. You get greedy, you see, I'm just gonna hop back in the market, I'm gonna make this back by just doubling my risk. And then one R becomes two R. comes 3R. Next thing you know, you've done some serious damage to your account, you might have even blown it up. Revenge trading has ended many traders' careers much more than a bad strategy would. Don't let your ego and emotions make you think a trade exists when one doesn't. You can take a good trade and lose money. That is okay.
