So most people in phase one, they oversize and they don't just slowly go into drawdown, they blow up their entire account by over sizing. The next thing I like to call lottery brain. So this is when you're treating trading like a lottery, like a jackpot rather than a business. You see these huge P&L's online, people making millions of dollars on meme coins, huge payouts from prop firms, and you're like, this is what I need to do. So you start hunting those thousand X's, you full port in on narratives, you buy every dip because someone on social media told you to. The problem with a bull run is sometimes it actually reinforces this thinking. You long every dip, you long some random altcoin and the market rewards you, but you have just confused being a bull in a bull run or being lucky with skill.
