Day job income removed trading pressure; allowed focus on good trades over survival trades.

I ended up going back to work and I found early on having supplementary income made me a better trader because it allowed me to focus on compounding my account and taking trades because they were good trades, not because they were trades that I needed money, where it's like, I got to pay rent, I got to make some money, I got to be able to withdraw. So I guess it's interesting because you're like, trading made you better at your job, whereas I think at least for me early on is having that job and knowing that my living expenses and my needs were covered by my salary allowed me to really just focus on trading and growing that portfolio until trading became a thing that I truly could do full time without having to worry about, you know, trading for a living.
