Losing streaks signal system issues; reanalyze inputs instead of cutting size and stepping away.

I'm gonna zoom out. Oh, it looks like we're actually about to have a trend change You know we're just lost a daily level and you were zoomed in on the five minute you might not see it and It's like if you have a good system I think it almost tells you those warning signs in those losses like when you start losing that's a warning sign like okay Something's going on here. I need to take a step back and look I used to be a big proponent of like oh you take a bunch of losses in a row You need to step away from the markets and you need to cut your size in half But like in reality that's not actually the case like if your system's good If it's not working anymore There's one of your inputs is off and you just need to kind of reanalyze before you get back in maybe you need to be shorting now Yeah, or or maybe your strategy works in a Certain environment and that environment is no longer here Right and sometimes people can call that like oh it's a summer it's a bull market It's a you know seasonal thing right where they have the the stats and everything But one unforeseen benefit and consequence of just losing a lot is Because if you're taking by definition a losing strategy Right if something only happens one in ten times and your strategy is revolving around it then by definition You're gonna have a strategy that loses about 90% of the time and that's not to say that it can't be profitable still it could it could but
