What happens in this moment

Maybe you're like, you know what, I'm just done for the day, come back tomorrow. So having some sort of circuit breaker can help. All right, number four is the process over the P&L. We talked about this earlier. Obviously, P&L is the end goal here, making money. But the process, especially early on, is much more important. So something you can do to better structure your trading and prevent yourself from overtrading is don't judge your journal based on whether or not you're just making money. A good trading day is a day where you followed your rules and you executed your trading plan. A bad trading day is one where you didn't follow your plan, regardless of whether or not you made money. If you can do this for a while, this is something that you can absolutely improve on, because when you're journaling, you're going to say, hey, man, all these days that I made money, I was executing my trade plan.
