What happens in this moment

Avoiding those bad trades. Next up, we have trading your P&L. I'm sure you guys have done this all the time but if you're basing your trading success purely on your P&L, you're going to cause yourself to over trade. Now obviously P&L is important, we're here to make money but if you have a day where you're negative, right and then you go and take a bunch of trades because you have this desire to get back to break even or into the green, that's trading your P&L. You're likely over trading. Same thing goes, right back to point one. If you're flat on the day, you're like, well I don't want to end the day flat. I took three trades, I meant break even. What a waste of the day. Let me just take one more trade so I can end up on a positive no. P&L is important, right? We are here to make money and that's the ultimate judge of whether or not what you're doing works but earlier on in your career focusing too much on the P&L is going to cause you to take bad trades because you're going to be reacting emotionally to the number on the screen.
